Overview:
Kick-start your career in engineering with RCL Foods Sugar Division through their Technical Apprenticeship Programme at the Malelane Mill. This nationally recognized programme offers young, driven individuals the chance to gain hands-on experience, technical expertise, and trade qualifications in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Turning disciplines. Key Responsibilities:
- Attend formal institutional training at the Industrial Training Centre (ITC) in Mount Edgecombe (±20 weeks annually).
- Gain practical, rotational experience in different departments of the Malelane Mill during operations and off-crop periods (±29 weeks annually).
- Complete an annual Mini Trade Test (phase test) to assess progress. Final Trade Test leads to a Nationally Recognized Qualification.
- Maintain satisfactory performance to be eligible for annual contract renewal.

Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) with a minimum of N3 qualification or NCV Level 4.
- N4 or higher qualification is an advantage.
- Passion for engineering and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
