Overview:
South African National Parks (SANParks) is currently hiring qualified and experienced Security Guards to help protect the natural heritage of the world-renowned Kruger National Park. Key Responsibilities:
- Safeguard park property, wildlife, staff, and visitors
- Monitor visitor activity and report any unauthorized access or suspicious behavior
- Conduct regular patrols in designated zones and respond to security emergencies
- Maintain accurate visitor logs and enforce park entry regulations
- Support anti-poaching efforts and ensure compliance with park safety protocols
- Operate and maintain surveillance and security equipment
Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a general worker
- Basic knowledge of wildlife crime prevention is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in remote environments
- Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions
