Overview:
Northern Personnel & Labour Solutions is seeking an experienced and trade-tested Qualified Diesel Mechanic to join a leading agricultural operation in Dendron, Limpopo. This role requires a highly skilled technician with strong agricultural machinery repair knowledge, particularly in brands such as John Deere, Massey Ferguson, and New Holland. The ideal candidate must be reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently in a fast-paced farm environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance, servicing, and repairs on tractors and farm machinery
- Repair and service various farm implements (e.g., feed mixers and related equipment)
- Perform general farm maintenance tasks including welding, hydraulics, electrical work, pumps, and workshop duties
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance adhere to safety and operational standards
- Support day-to-day farm operations where technical intervention is required
Requirements:
- Fully qualified Diesel Mechanic with a Trade Test (essential)
- Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience
- Strong technical knowledge of tractor repairs (John Deere, New Holland, Massey Ferguson, or similar)
- Proven ability to service and repair a wide range of farm implements
- Experience in welding, hydraulics, electrical systems, pumps, and general farm workshop duties
- Ability to work independently and diagnose faults without supervision
- Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to relocate to Dendron, Limpopo
- Housing is included with the position
