Overview:
The South African Police Service (SAPS) is currently recruiting dedicated, disciplined, and service-driven individuals to join the force as Police Trainees. Successful candidates will undergo extensive training and development, leading to permanent placement as Police Officers. Key Responsibilities:
- Attend and complete all phases of the Basic Police Development Learning Programme (BPDLP)
- Prevent, investigate and combat crime
- Uphold and enforce the law consistently with integrity
- Engage with communities to promote safety and build trust
- Perform administrative and operational police duties as required
Requirements:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Grade 12/Matric Certificate (compulsory)
- No criminal record or pending cases
- Aged between 18 and 30 years
- Physically and mentally fit
- Willing to undergo fitness assessments, medical and psychological evaluations
- Must not have visible tattoos when wearing SAPS uniform
- Be prepared to work anywhere in South Africa
