Overview:
SAVF Vanderbijlpark Shelter is urgently hiring 2 experienced Night Security Guards to ensure the safety and protection of our facility and residents. This is a full-time night shift position (18:00–06:00). The ideal candidate must be disciplined, alert, and SAPS-cleared, with proven security experience and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a secure environment by patrolling and monitoring premises
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols
- Report all security incidents or unusual activities to the facility manager
- Control entry and exit points of the shelter
- Provide a visible security presence to deter unauthorized access
Requirements:
- Minimum of Grade 10 (Grade 12 preferred)
- Valid SAPS Clearance Certificate
- Recognized qualification in security
- Proven experience working in a security guard role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Must be disciplined, punctual, and dependable
