Evander Gold Mine, one of South Africa’s leading and rapidly expanding gold mining operations located in Mpumalanga, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Operator to join its dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine sampling and perform basic mineral analysis.
- Supervise and ensure efficient plant operations.
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of plant equipment.
- Monitor and inspect processing systems, pipelines, and dosing mechanisms.
- Maintain operational hygiene and adhere to strict housekeeping standards.
- Enforce compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Respond effectively to on-site technical and operational challenges.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate is mandatory.
- Proven medical fitness for duty and willingness to undergo medical checks.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate plant-related software/tools.
- Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in a gold processing plant or mining environment.
- Good communication skills with the ability to follow standard operating procedures in English.
