This programme provides hands-on exposure in credit management, reconciliations, supplier invoicing, and electronic payments processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile cashbooks on a daily and monthly basis
- Support weekly and monthly electronic banking payments setup accurately
- Update payment applications in real time and follow up on banking discrepancies
- Handle monthly processing of supplier invoices and ensure authorization compliance
- Reconcile supplier general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Communicate with hospitals to clarify purchase-related queries
- Manage supplier account ageing, maintaining a 30-day window
- Request refunds and open new supplier accounts as needed
- Maintain organized filing systems and complete regular weekly documentation
- Provide support to the Group Financial Accountant as required
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Basic knowledge of accounting software like Sage Evolution or Business Dynamics is advantageous
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn, work under supervision, and meet deadlines
