Key Responsibilities
- Operate articulated dump trucks safely and efficiently on mining and construction sites
- Transport materials such as soil, rock, and aggregates as required
- Perform pre-operational inspections and basic maintenance checks on equipment
- Follow site safety regulations and operational procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and site teams during operations
- Support productivity targets by ensuring timely and accurate material movement
Requirements
Essential:
- Minimum Grade 10 qualification (including Maths, Science, and English)
- At least 2 years’ experience operating an Articulated Dump Truck (ADT)
- Certificate of Competence from an accredited training provider
- Valid South African driver’s licence
- Medically fit for mining work
- Ability to pass the Vienna Dover assessment test
- Strong English communication skills
- Must be 21 years or older
- Proof of residence (compulsory)
- Valid South African ID
Preferred:
- Experience working on large mining or infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with Seriti mining operations or similar environments
