Key Responsibilities

Requirements

Essential Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric certificate)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work
  • Registration with SACSSP (South African Council for Social Service Professions)
  • SAPS police clearance certificate
  • Clearance in terms of the Child Protection Register
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in English and Afrikaans communication
  • Code 08 driver’s license
  • Good physical and mental health to perform professional duties
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience in community development programmes
  • Background in aged care services or community welfare initiatives
  • Experience with volunteer coordination and programme management
