Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate ECD knowledge, practical skills, and workplace experience modules in line with QCTO curriculum
- Prepare learners for External Integrated Summative Assessments (EISA)
- Assess learner performance and support Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) development
- Maintain accurate academic and learner records in compliance with QCTO, DHET, and institutional policies
- Provide academic support, mentoring, and progress reporting
- Compile reports and communicate academic outcomes to the Head of Department (HOD)
- Deliver online or blended learning where required
Requirements
Essential Requirements:
- Relevant Early Childhood Development qualification (NQF Level 5 or higher)
- Experience facilitating Occupational Certificate or ECD programmes
- Knowledge of QCTO, SAQA, and EISA processes
- Ability to assess, moderate, and support PoE development
- Strong communication, facilitation, and learner support skills
Preferred Requirements:
- Qualification in Assessing Occupational or ECD programmes
- SACE registration or commitment to obtain registration upon appointment
- Experience with online or blended learning platforms
