We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Field Guide with a strong knowledge of wildlife and conservation. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct guided game drives and walking safaris for guests
- Share expert knowledge on wildlife, ecology, and conservation
- Ensure guest safety and satisfaction during all activities
- Comply with lodge protocols and conservation regulations
- Maintain safari equipment and vehicles to top standards
- Collaborate with the lodge team to deliver a world-class guest experience
Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) and valid South African ID
- FGASA NQF Level 4 qualification with Back-Up Trails (Lead Trails is advantageous)
- DEAT Registration (Mpumalanga)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Field Guide or Ranger in a Big Five reserve
- Excellent communication, interpretation, and guest engagement skills
- Strong passion for nature and wildlife conservation
